My Collage

Day-7

How many ways can you think of to take different photos of the same object? Explain your answers.

Well first, you can take a picture of the front of the object. You can flip the object upside down and take two pictures, the front and the back. The object can change its location or backround, for example, put the object on the beach, on the table, on the playground, ect. You can take a picture in certain lighting with or without the flash. You can take multiple pictures or different people holding the same object. There's many ways you can tak photo's of the same object. Explore your mind!

Day-6

What questions do you still have about lighting for portraits? What else would you like to learn? On a scale of 1-5, with 5 being super excited, how much are you looking forward to using the studio?

How exactly do you do the lighting for the portraits the correct way? What if theres no main backround? Why do we use lighting if the camera has a flash? I would like to learn all the fun things about photography. I'll be real honest about my scale number for looking foward to using the studio. I rate it about maybe a three.

Day-5

Every student in this class must complete learning log activities. This will be counted as an assignment grade. Your assignment is to create 3 images to be printed, framed, and exhibited at a public art show. The show will be the evening of December 19 at Big Al's Brewery in White Center. Big Al's is open to all ages. Attendance at the show is voluntary. More information about the assignment will be posted soon.-Your journal assignment for today: Are you interested in attending this event?

Honestly, I'm not interested in attending ths event. It's not that I don't want to but I dont have time for it. Basketball and school takes up my whole life. Seems like i dont have time for anything else. I leve the house at 7:15 a.m. and don't get back till 9. So I doubt I would attend Big Al's.

Day-4

We are going to set up a studio to take portraits of each other. Write a description of what you think it should be like-describe the background and any props you think we should have, as well as any other ideas you can come up with!

Well, I think that everyone should choose there two favorite colors for their backround. Why? Because I think two colors blended together looks interesting in a backround of a portait. Or we can choose clouds, lightning, fire, anything that we want to put in the backround. Everyone should choose their own backround to show their personality. But you know me on the other hand, I might come up and have red, black and gray in my backround, or red lightning. But that's just me and my thoughts, straight up.

Day-3

What do you like best about Photoshop? What do you like the least about Photoshop?

What I liked best about Photoshop was that I can change the colors of my original pictures. Also, I liked how I can change the texture of a picture and make it look like a painting or cartoon. What I liked least about Photoshop is that it's difficult to figure out everything. Photoshop can do all types of stuff but it's hard to learn to find all the different things that it can do. But it's okay, it's not that bad.

Day 2

Happy December! Did you know Mrs. Magyar's birthday is in only 5 more days? What was the most frustrating thing about yesterday's class? How did you deal with it, and how could you deal with it differently?

No, i didn't know that Mrs. Magyer's birthday is in only five days. The most frustrating thing about yesterday's class was trying to get comfortable with the class work. I think I did very well in dealing with the situation. I sat there and did what was asked of me. I don't think i would have dealt with it differently seeing the fact that I did a good job.
